There is a full Extended Hours and Out Of Hours service available.

6pm to 10pm Monday to Friday and 9amto 3pm weekends & bank holidays

If your problem isn't an emergency please dial the surgery number and you will automatically be connected to GP CARE WAKEFIELD which is an extended hours service owned by all Wakefield GP Practices to cover the entire population of the Wakefield District when our surgeries close.

After 10pm Monday to Friday and after 3pm at weekends and bank holidays please dial 111 and you will be connected to the NHS out of hours service which is free to landlines and mobile telephones. This service will then direct you to appropriate medical help.

Call 999 in an emergency - chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
